Receptionist / Front Desk Agent (Saudi National)

About the role

We are looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist / Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests at Novotel Makkah. The role involves delivering a warm, efficient welcome and ensuring a memorable stay for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, handling check‑ins, check‑outs and inquiries promptly.
• Answer and manage phone calls, emails and other guest communications.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the hotel system.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Process payments and support cashiering procedures according to hotel policies.
• Keep the Front Desk area clean, organized and presentable.
• Follow all security, safety and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality as specified for the position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Arabic and English.
• High school diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience as a receptionist or front‑desk agent in hospitality or customer‑service environments (preferred).
• Strong multitasking, time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
