Recreation Assistant Manager

About the role

The Recreation Assistant Manager supports the strategic and daily operations of the Recreation Department at FAENA The Red Sea, focusing on the Kids Club and Youth Club. Working closely with the Recreation Manager, you will help create safe, engaging, and memorable experiences for families while upholding FAENA’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Recreation Manager in overall leadership and operational management of the department.
• Supervise Kids Club and Youth Club teams to deliver age‑appropriate programs for children and teens.
• Ensure all registration, consent and medical forms are completed, stored correctly and up‑to‑date.
• Monitor club operations to maintain guest safety, prevent incidents and respond promptly when they occur.
• Oversee mandatory trainings, briefings and departmental meetings for the team.
• Maintain pristine, inspiring and safe environments that reflect FAENA luxury standards.
• Log, document and escalate incidents, guest concerns and safety hazards.
• Manage sign‑in and sign‑out procedures to guarantee the security of all children.
• Guide attendants in the organization, storage and care of toys, equipment and materials.
• Assign and supervise housekeeping duties within Kids & Youth Club spaces.
• Ensure regular sanitisation, maintenance and inspection of equipment, toys and facilities.
• Engage directly with children and teenagers in a polished, positive and professional manner.
• Demonstrate calm leadership and sound judgment in emergencies or unexpected situations.
• Verify that team members are physically capable of interacting safely with children.
• Complete all operational documentation and reports as required.
