Recreation Attendant

About the role

As a Recreation Attendant at Novotel, you will be the first point of contact for guests using the pool and wellness areas. You will deliver warm, locally‑inspired service, ensuring each guest enjoys a safe and memorable experience in a luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, issue towels, chaise‑lounge covers and assist with set‑up of loungers and cabanas.
• Collect used towels and keep the pool deck clean and free of debris throughout the day.
• Maintain the pool’s appearance, ambience and safety standards, following opening and closing procedures.
• Promote and up‑sell wellness and recreation services to maximise revenue.
• Apply hotel fire, life‑safety and emergency procedures at all times.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help guests.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, upscale environment while maintaining a high standard of personal appearance.
• Basic knowledge of health‑ and safety regulations applicable to pool areas.
