Regional Capability Lead for Middle East

About the role

Roche is looking for a Regional Capability Lead to shape the future of healthcare capabilities across the Middle East. You will combine strategic vision with operational excellence to establish and scale core commercialization capabilities, initially as a standalone expert with the potential to build a team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct functional and cross‑functional capability assessments to design strategic learning journeys and build regional capability heat maps.
• Guide regional change initiatives and organizational development projects aligned with broader business goals.
• Conceptualize and moderate engaging workshops and training programs covering scientific, commercial, and behavioral topics.
• Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to represent regional development needs and scale existing training.
• Identify future skill requirements, align regional budgets, and lay groundwork to recruit, onboard, and coach a future team.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience designing curricula, leveraging blended learning platforms, and applying adult learning pedagogy in pharma or healthcare.
• Track record of guiding strategic organizational development, managing change, and using classic or agile methodologies.
• Exceptional moderation, relationship‑building, and influencing skills across cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership potential to hire, onboard, coach, and develop a high‑performing team in the future.
