Regional Controller – MENA

About the role

The Regional Controller – MENA will join Marsh's finance leadership team in Riyadh, supporting the consulting businesses Oliver Wyman and Mercer across the Middle East and North Africa. This senior controllership role is responsible for financial integrity, regulatory compliance and commercial insight across a multi‑entity, multi‑country portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional controllership function, managing monthly close, financial consolidation and group reporting in line with global standards.
• Oversee statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and revenue recognition for consulting and project‑based engagements, ensuring IFRS 15 compliance.
• Manage regional tax compliance, including Saudi corporate income tax, Zakat and VAT across the GCC, and coordinate transfer‑pricing requirements.
• Maintain internal controls, governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with local labour, Saudization and payroll regulations.
• Partner with senior leaders, partners and business heads to communicate performance, risks and opportunities.
• Support acquisitions, integrations and new‑country setups, building the financial infrastructure for regional growth.

Required profile

• Saudi national with the right to work in Riyadh.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA or equivalent).
• 10–16 years of progressive finance experience, strong controllership background in a multinational environment.
• Proven revenue‑recognition expertise in consulting or project‑based services and solid knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15.
• Deep understanding of Saudi and GCC tax regimes, including VAT, corporate tax and Zakat.
• Experience managing finance operations across multiple countries and legal entities.
