Regional Cost Controller (MEA)

About the role

Pacific International Lines is looking for a proactive Regional Cost Controller based in Riyadh to enhance cost transparency, financial discipline, and operational efficiency across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. You will partner with country finance teams and business leaders to monitor, analyse and optimise operational costs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and control operational, logistics, warehousing, transportation and administrative costs across all MEA countries.
• Collect, consolidate and validate monthly cost data from country finance teams.
• Perform detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior‑year performance.
• Investigate significant cost fluctuations, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Drive regional benchmarking initiatives and track cost‑saving projects.
• Prepare cost performance dashboards, reports and presentations for senior management.
• Ensure accurate cost‑related financial information and support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, perform account reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
