Regional Financial Controller

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will lead financial control, reporting and day‑to‑day finance operations for Elevate MENA. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director and managing a team of three, the role ensures the integrity of financial information across all MENA entities in a fast‑moving, project‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and year‑end close for all MENA entities, delivering accurate results and timely reporting.
• Prepare and review management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations, cash‑flow reports and supporting schedules with clear commentary.
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, master data and intercompany balances, ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies and IFRS.
• Lead regional statutory audits and coordinate the preparation of financial statements and external reporting.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting, treasury activities and working‑capital management, including collections and payments.
• Develop and enhance NetSuite usage, automate finance processes and document key finance procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least ten years of relevant finance experience.
• Significant controllership experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance and treasury.
• Experience in a project‑based services business, preferably within sports, entertainment or agency settings.
