Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead Emerson’s Discrete Automation business across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, driving profitable sales of products and solutions in line with company strategy. You will shape market penetration, foster a customer‑focused culture and ensure the sales team meets its targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the sales team, using Salesforce CRM to track opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Own 100 % of orders and sales targets for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
• Identify and pursue new product and solution sales, entering new industry segments.
• Coordinate and approve commercial negotiations according to delegation of authority.
• Design and execute strategic pricing actions to increase market penetration and profitability.
• Report weekly and monthly on performance, pipeline, growth programs and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Business Development teams across the Middle East, Africa and globally to assign opportunities in Salesforce.
• Drive acquisition of new customers, applications and solutions, leveraging cross‑business‑unit opportunities.
• Continuously develop sales staff through training, coaching and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial or automation sectors.
• Proven leadership ability with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in strategic pricing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with customers and channel partners.
• Ability to work autonomously and report results to senior leadership.
