Reliability Engineer – Asset Criticality & RCM

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead the Total Reliability program for refinery assets. The role focuses on establishing a robust reliability framework, conducting criticality assessments, and driving continuous improvement across the asset lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the framework and methodology for criticality assessment and reliability improvement.
• Lead asset criticality analysis for all refinery equipment and facilitate workshops to gather data.
• Populate criticality data in SAP, including taxonomy, operating limits, BOM, and SAP‑PM records.
• Champion reliability methodologies, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to safety‑critical equipment standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary studies, provide technical consultancy, and integrate lessons learned from benchmark and safety cases.
• Report progress to the Project Manager and produce regular status updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in reliability engineering within industrial or refinery environments.
• Strong background in asset criticality ranking, lifecycle management, and SAP data administration.
• Ability to lead workshops, produce technical reports, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
