Reliability Engineer

About the role

Saipem is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to lead the implementation of reliability strategies across its complex energy infrastructure projects. The role focuses on reducing equipment failures, improving maintenance practices, and supporting the company’s Net Zero transition.

Key responsibilities

• Identify frequently failing equipment ("Bad Actors") and manage the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
• Conduct root‑cause analysis using methodologies such as Taproot.
• Develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators aligned with Best Maintenance Practices.
• Ensure comprehensive equipment history, damage coding, and root‑cause documentation.
• Design and implement a Total Plant Reliability Management (TPRM) system.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Reliability Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) and Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE); Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in root‑cause analysis and reliability engineering.
