Remote Software Engineer – AI-driven Platforms

About the role

This full-time remote Software Engineer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power APTWatch’s AI-driven platforms and enterprise applications. The engineer collaborates with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust back‑end services and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, testable code and implement object‑oriented designs.
• Perform code reviews and troubleshoot production issues.
• Build and maintain back‑end services, APIs, and micro‑services.
• Integrate AI and automation components into platforms.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security of applications.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and continuously improve development practices.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proficiency in software development with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment and communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams.
