About the role
The Renovation Sales Engineer will drive Otis’s modernization business in Saudi Arabia, handling sales of elevator upgrades, replacements and related services. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to secure projects, ensure contractual compliance and grow market share.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all MOD and off‑portfolio replacement inquiries from initial contact through project completion.
- Prepare detailed estimates and issue quotations for upgrades, modernization projects and repairs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, understanding their evolving needs.
- Secure orders for modernization and replacement projects and integrate them into existing service frameworks.
- Oversee a portfolio of elevator units, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely resolutions.
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, bids and tenders.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet ambitious targets.
- Use Otis sales tools to track opportunities, manage pipelines and forecast results.
- Conduct complex sales negotiations and collaborate with sales representatives and field colleagues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in vertical‑transportation sales, specifically modernization.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
