Reservation Sales Agent – Travel Services

About the role

dnata is seeking a Reservation Sales Agent to join its travel services team. You will be the front‑line contact for clients, providing superior service while selling airline tickets, travel products, and group/event solutions. The role focuses on converting enquiries into ticketed sales through friendly and efficient customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑standard customer service to retail, government, and corporate clients using all available tools.
• Offer dnata‑contracted products, loyalty programmes, and destination information to meet travel requirements.
• Make travel reservations, issue tickets, and ensure compliance with airline, hotel, and product rules.
• Recommend alternative classes, routes, or carriers when requested seats are unavailable and pursue upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Inform customers about passport, visa, health, insurance, check‑in details, and other mandatory travel requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily revenue documentation in the back‑office system for invoicing.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent), preferably in Travel and Tourism or related field.
• Strong knowledge of geography, arithmetic, and airline reservation systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and customer service abilities.
• Fluent verbal and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with airline reservation systems.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
