Resource Planning Specialist

About the role

The Resource Planning Specialist ensures that all divisions have the right resources at the right time to operate efficiently. You will coordinate staffing, training, and documentation across the port and liaise with HR and external authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the Behavioral Improvement and Consequence Management (BICM) program.
• Arrange, monitor, and control employee vacation plans.
• Assess, analyze, and resolve personnel‑related issues, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Coordinate with HR and Port Authority for strategy alignment and information sharing.
• Obtain government and port documents such as IQAMA, permits, insurance, and certificates.
• Maintain the technical services training matrix and employee career paths.
• Schedule personnel, review time records, and prepare overtime requests.
• Monitor and analyze reports from the people‑scheduling system.
• Prepare monthly incentive reports for the finance division.
• Sustain the Document Management System, ensuring proper revision, communication, and disposal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience; marine port experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, safety‑mindset, problem‑solving ability, adaptability, and teamwork.
