Retail District Manager – Carrefour

About the role

The Retail District Manager for Carrefour will lead a portfolio of stores in Saudi Arabia, driving performance, profitability and alignment with Majid Al Futtaim’s corporate standards. You will act as the key link between senior management and store teams, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse store performance, propose improvement actions and oversee implementation.
• Ensure proper conservation, utilization and profitability of store assets across the district.
• Support the national retail concept and guarantee its consistent application.
• Implement MAF Retail corporate policies and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Oversee product assortment structure, presentation quality and promotional image of assigned stores.
• Coordinate new project phases and foster synergies between internal functions.
• Drive performance management by setting objectives, monitoring results and providing constructive feedback.
• Identify training needs and collaborate with HR to deliver appropriate development programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, including at least 3 years in supermarket retail.
• Proven ability to manage and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong business communication and presentation capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
