Revenue Manager

About the role

The Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing the transient room inventory of the hotel, driving revenue growth, and ensuring that group rooms are released back to the market at the right time. This role works closely with sales, marketing, and operations to align pricing, positioning, and inventory strategies across the property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor transient room inventory to maximize revenue.
• Release group rooms back into the general inventory and keep booking windows clean.
• Recommend pricing and positioning for cluster properties based on market analysis.
• Oversee the inventory management system to ensure alignment with selling strategies.
• Analyze actual sales versus forecasts, generate reports, and present insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct sales‑strategy analysis, refine approaches, and support market‑share growth.
• Maintain accurate reservation system data and identify trends for future demand.
• Lead revenue‑management projects, set long‑range objectives, and drive execution.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field with at least 3 years of revenue‑management or sales‑marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience preparing detailed revenue reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively with owners, corporate teams, and guests.

Required skills

• Proficiency with revenue‑management and reservation software.
• Advanced Excel or equivalent data‑analysis tools.
