Roads Engineer (Full-time, m/f)

About the role

ARX is expanding its presence in the Middle East and seeks a qualified Roads Engineer to join its Riyadh office. You will be responsible for the design and supervision of road and highway projects, ensuring they meet local standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee road and highway projects for various infrastructure developments.
• Perform and review road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, and pavement design.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems into overall designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review technical deliverables from engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Liaise with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience on infrastructure projects with a focus on roads and highways.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
