Room Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at our hotel in Al Khobar. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, corridors and public areas, ensuring a high standard of comfort for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms to hotel standards, including making the bed, dusting, replenishing supplies, cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming carpets.
• Inspect rooms for proper condition and functionality, reporting any repair needs to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, public floor areas, equipment and pantry spaces.
• Provide turn‑down service by preparing the bed, replenishing supplies and cleaning the bathroom when required.
• Answer guest questions and requests courteously, provide information or extra items, and record relevant details.
• Report special‑attention guests, unusual situations or incidents at the end of each shift.
• Update the Order Taker on room discrepancies and coordinate handling of lost‑and‑found items.
• Perform late‑check‑out cleaning and any additional guest‑requested services.
• Stay informed about hotel products and services to assist guests effectively.
• Adapt to additional tasks as needed by hotel operations.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed cleaning standards and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for inspecting rooms and reporting repairs.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently during shifts.
• Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
• Flexibility to handle turn‑down, late‑checkout and extra guest services.
