Safety Engineer – QC/QA

About the role

Our client, a leading contracting firm in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer with a focus on Quality Control and Assurance. The role involves implementing HSE and QC/QA standards across construction sites and ensuring compliance with Saudi Electricity Company requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE and QC/QA requirements on all project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety hazards and quality issues.
• Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, JSA and Safe Work Procedures.
• Manage Permit‑to‑Work processes and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Prepare and maintain safety inspection reports, incident reports and NCRs.
• Coordinate toolbox talks, safety briefings and HSE awareness activities for project personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Valid QC/QA approval from Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).
• Strong command of English for technical and HSE documentation.

What we offer

• Starting salary of SAR 10,000 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience.
