Safety Officer (1 Month Short-Term)

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a qualified Safety Officer for a short-term engagement of 1 month, based on site in Yanbu. The role ensures a safe working environment across various operations, complies with safety regulations and promotes health and safety awareness among employees.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and assessments to identify hazards.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols in line with local regulations.
• Help develop and deliver safety training programmes.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, find root causes and put corrective actions in place.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents and training sessions.
• Work with management and staff to build a safety culture.
• Report on safety performance and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a safety officer.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on site and travel if required.

Preferred: NEBOSH or equivalent certification. Candidates must hold GOSI and Ajeer, and attend a mandatory face-to-face interview in Marafiq, Yanbu.
