Sales Design Consultant (Saudi National)

About the role

ABYAT, the leading retail destination in the Middle East, is looking for a Sales Design Consultant to join its Riyadh team. The consultant will work directly with walk‑in and referred clients, turning their interior design needs into practical, sellable concepts that boost store revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client requirements (space, budget, lifestyle) and develop initial layout and space‑planning concepts.
• Recommend materials, finishes, furniture and complementary products, presenting proposals confidently.
• Drive design proposals to commercial closure, upsell relevant items and achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Transfer approved concepts to the Draftsman Designer for detailed technical drawings and coordinate revisions.
• Support senior designers on complex or VIP projects and maintain high presentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 1–3 years of experience in a furniture showroom or retail design environment.
• Strong aesthetic sense, spatial awareness and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and persuasion abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
