Sales Engineer – Rotating Equipment Solutions

About the role

ASAS ALJOOD General Contracting Company is looking for a technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive sales growth of its rotating equipment portfolio across Saudi Arabia. You will act as the bridge between customers and engineering teams, delivering tailored solutions for the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, water, and mining sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, vacuum systems, gearboxes and motors.
• Identify new business opportunities and nurture existing customer relationships.
• Visit client sites, gather technical requirements and propose appropriate equipment.
• Deliver technical presentations and product discussions.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals and tender documents.
• Review specifications and ensure correct equipment selection.
• Coordinate with engineering, service and operations teams to provide effective solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order follow‑up and customer satisfaction.
• Support aftermarket opportunities including spare parts, repairs, upgrades and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience with rotating equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the rotating equipment sector.
• PMP certification preferred.
• OEM training certificates related to rotating equipment highly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment applications, engineering specifications and industrial processes.
