Sales Executive – Rapid Diagnostics (Infectious Disease)

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Sales Executive to join its Rapid Diagnostic Infectious Disease division in Al‑Qassim. The role focuses on promoting the full infectious‑disease portfolio, including new Covid‑related products, and driving market adoption of point‑of‑care diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the assigned sales quota for the designated territory.
• Develop and grow the territory through promotion of new and existing products, product presentations and competitor intelligence.
• Conduct targeted sales calls to high‑potential customers and implement the Go‑to‑Market strategy aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts and KOLs using a consultative selling approach.
• Assess customer needs and advise on appropriate Abbott solutions.
• Collaborate closely with distributor sales teams to create and execute effective local sales strategies.
• Support distribution partners with training, technical expertise, sales meetings and marketing assistance.
• Provide accurate forecasts, business reports and action plans.

Required profile

• Full responsibility for achieving sales targets.
• Ability to manage and develop a territory in the healthcare diagnostics market.
• Consultative selling experience with key opinion leaders.
• Strong collaboration skills with distributor and internal teams.
