Sales Manager – Construction Saudi Cluster (Saudi National)

About the role

The Sales Manager for the Construction Saudi Cluster will be responsible for driving revenue through exhibition stands, sponsorship and branding opportunities for established brands. The role is based in Riyadh and reports to the Sales Director at dmg events, an international exhibitions and publishing company.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue generation for exhibition stands and sponsorship packages to meet agreed sales targets.
• Sell exhibition space and sponsorships in line with the revenue budget.
• Collaborate with the Sales Director to manage a network of overseas sales agents.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the Middle East market.
• Monitor sales figures and produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for senior management.
• Provide the Sales Director with weekly activity updates and forecast reports.
• Review competitive exhibitions and generate new leads to maximise sales opportunities.
• Maintain regular contact with existing and potential clients, including site visits and participation in industry events.
• Develop relationships with industry associations and organisations to support exhibition participation.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to shape marketing strategies that boost exhibitor and visitor numbers.
• Coordinate with the accounts department on collections for exhibitor sales.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of B2B sales management and account management experience.
• Experience in the events sector or construction industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with the Middle East market is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills across phone, email and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Ability to sell using a consultative approach and achieve KPI‑driven targets.
• Highly motivated, ambitious and able to take ownership of results.
• Adaptable and collaborative, working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
