Sales Manager - Energy, Water Treatment, Agro & Industrial Chemicals

About the role

Brenntag, a global chemical distributor, is looking for a Sales Manager for its KSA business in the western region covering Energy, Water Treatment, Agro and industrial chemicals. The Sales Manager executes the sales strategy, grows sales and gross profit, represents the company professionally in the territory and joins the Brenntag Essential Business Model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan and account plans for key clients in the western region
• Identify, qualify and pursue new business in the upstream oil and gas industry
• Manage long-term client contracts so they are profitable and practical
• Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations with accurate pricing and product specifications
• Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to customers
• Collaborate with regional and global management teams and cross-functional teams on sales campaigns for key suppliers and partners
• Monitor the supply chain so orders are placed on time and regulatory requirements are met
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management and stay up to date with industry trends and competitors
• Manage the Customer Service team and support the logistics team with deliveries

Required profile

• At least 6 years of trackable experience in sales, account management, sales strategy implementation and technical support in Saudi Arabia
• Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas products and services
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree (preferably Petroleum/Chemical); Arabic is an asset
• Valid KSA driving licence and a transferable Iqama without QIWA obligations
• Wholesale/distribution/chemical industry experience preferred
