Salesforce Technical Architect – Large‑Scale Integration Lead

About the role

Horizontal Digital is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the technical design of a large‑scale, integration‑heavy Salesforce programme for a major enterprise client in Saudi Arabia. This hands‑on player/coach role will own the architecture across the Salesforce ecosystem and ensure solutions meet both business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own end‑to‑end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data Cloud and industry‑specific clouds.
• Evaluate and design integration patterns between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware and event‑driven approaches.
• Guide development teams through design reviews, best practices and code quality oversight.
• Support pre‑sales activities through solutioning, effort estimation and architecture advice.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including ERDs, sequence diagrams, data mappings and architecture blueprints.

Required profile

• 8+ years of client‑facing consulting experience focused on Salesforce architecture and solution design.
• Fluent in Arabic (preferred) and English (essential) with strong communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud and MuleSoft.
• Proven ability to mentor developers and lead design/code reviews.

• Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud).
• Integration patterns, RESTful APIs, middleware, event‑driven approaches.
• DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce release strategies.
• AI tools such as Claude Code for design and development acceleration.
• Data migration strategies across Salesforce clouds.
