SAP BASIS Lead – Team Lead (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Lead to drive large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs in Riyadh. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on implementation, ensuring robust system installation, upgrades, migrations and ongoing infrastructure support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA and related product installations, upgrades and conversion projects.
• Perform system monitoring, backup/restore, database maintenance and hardware sizing.
• Manage system copy, database refresh and upgrade activities.
• Configure Web Dispatcher, load balancing and support HA/DR setups for SAP applications.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network and project teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Drive proactive performance optimisation and integration with SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, SAC and third‑party systems.

Required profile

• 10+ years of SAP BASIS experience, preferably in S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ecosystem (BW/4HANA, HCM, BO/BODS, SRM, PO, Fiori, Solution Manager).
• Hands‑on experience with HANA and non‑HANA database administration.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, databases, networking and infrastructure concepts.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi‑vendor environments.
