Scientific Editor – Medical Physics (Remote)

About the role

Cactus Communications is seeking a remote Scientific Editor with expertise in Medical Physics or Nuclear Medicine. You will work with researchers worldwide to refine manuscripts, ensuring scientific accuracy and high‑quality academic writing.

Key responsibilities

• Review and edit research manuscripts for clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving authors’ intent.
• Validate subject‑specific terminology, conventions, and scientific arguments for accuracy and relevance.
• Enhance presentation of complex findings to improve communication and publication readiness.
• Ensure final texts meet rigorous academic standards and adhere to journal‑specific guidelines.

Required profile

• PhD in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Physics (mandatory).
• Strong publication record with 5–10+ first‑author papers.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer and familiarity with study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretation.
• Excellent written English and meticulous attention to detail.
