Section Head – Financial Planning & Budgeting

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead the Financial Planning and Analysis function, focusing on budgeting and reporting, for a leading transportation company in Saudi Arabia. The Section Head will drive the annual budgeting cycle, financial forecasting and management reporting to enable strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts across the organization.
• Conduct budget‑versus‑actual variance analysis and deliver corrective recommendations.
• Prepare executive and board‑level management reports.
• Build financial models to support investment and expansion decisions.
• Align finance stakeholders on a unified planning methodology.
• Develop financial performance indicators and performance dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CFA, CMA or MBA preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience working across multiple business entities within a group structure is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Experience using Power Business Intelligence (Power BI) for reporting and dashboard creation.
