Security Transformation Associate Manager

About the role

Accenture Security is looking for a Security Transformation Associate Manager to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of security solutions across client engagements. You will own end‑to‑end accountability for defining security requirements, overseeing the build of security components, and ensuring rigorous testing standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of Security Operations Center (SOC) programmes, driving strategic direction and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee implementation and optimisation of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, aligning them with client environments and evolving threat landscapes.
• Define and translate security requirements into scalable architecture and delivery approaches.
• Manage team performance, resource allocation, workload and quality across concurrent workstreams.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and translate findings into actionable remediation roadmaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6–9 years of progressive cybersecurity experience, including delivery or consulting roles.
• Proven experience managing security teams and delivering complex SOC/SIEM programmes.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and regional compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Expert‑level SOC planning, operations and maturity assessment.
• Advanced proficiency with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, IBM QRadar or equivalents).
• Working knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR), threat‑intelligence platforms, SOAR tools and cloud security principles.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM), network security architecture and vulnerability management tools.
• Strong data‑analytics skills applied to security operations, including log analysis, correlation rule development and metrics reporting.
