Senior Accountant – Digital Revenue & Compliance

About the role

JACO is seeking a senior‑level accountant to lead the accounting function for a portfolio of digital‑focused entities operating in the social media and office‑productivity space. The role ensures the integrity of financial statements, compliance with Saudi regulations and IFRS, and supports fast‑moving digital revenue streams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all group companies in line with IFRS and SOCPA.
• Oversee accounting for complex digital revenues such as ad revenue, subscription income, SaaS licensing and in‑app purchases.
• Maintain the general ledger, supervise month‑end and year‑end closing processes across multiple entities.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, zakat and e‑invoicing (FATOORA).
• Develop and monitor internal controls, payment approvals, procurement policies and intercompany transaction procedures.
• Manage audit coordination, external tax advisor liaison and timely filing of tax returns.
• Mentor a distributed team of accountants and collaborate with finance, product, marketing and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior accounting roles within digital or technology‑driven businesses.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOCPA and Saudi tax regulations (ZATCA, VAT, e‑invoicing).
• Hands‑on experience with multi‑entity consolidation and intercompany accounting.
• Ability to lead and develop accounting teams across several locations.
