Senior Accountant

About the role

Indra Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and supporting the company’s financial reporting and audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, perform account reconciliations, and record journal entries, accruals, and AP/AR transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting as required.
• Coordinate external audits, prepare audit schedules and provide supporting documentation.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, calculate and remit Withholding Tax, and ensure compliance with ZATCA e‑invoicing regulations.
• Oversee e‑invoicing processes and generate electronic invoices in line with local requirements.
• Manage payroll processing, salary calculations, deductions and WPS compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi VAT, Withholding Tax and ZATCA e‑invoicing regulations.
• Proven experience coordinating external audits and preparing audit documentation.
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
