Senior Accountant

About the role

Ayvo is looking for a Senior Accountant to own the day‑to‑day accounting function in Jeddah. You will ensure the books are accurate, compliant and audit‑ready while supporting the company’s transition to automated finance workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain double‑entry records in Qoyod, classify COGS vs OPEX and tag projects/departments.
• Issue customer invoices with ZATCA e‑invoicing, manage AR aging, credit notes and collections.
• Process supplier invoices, track SaaS subscriptions and formalise a scalable AP process.
• Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations for KSA and Egypt accounts, monitor liquidity and support cash‑flow forecasting.
• Run payroll for Egypt and KSA, including GOSI, Wathiqa and employer social insurance, and allocate costs by project.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow statements and project‑level financial reports.
• Track project revenue, cost and profitability, and support revenue recognition.
• File KSA VAT returns, maintain ZATCA e‑invoicing, handle GOSI and Zakat, and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead month‑end close in Qoyod, post accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in consulting, technology or project‑based organisations.
• Hands‑on experience with KSA VAT, ZATCA e‑invoicing and GOSI.
• Experience managing multi‑country operations and cloud‑based accounting systems.
