Senior Accountant

About the role

Wood is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its project accounting function from the Khobar office. The role will ensure accurate revenue recognition, manage accounts receivable and payable, and contribute to month‑end closing for a global engineering and consulting business.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate AR and AP transactions processed by the Shared Services team.
• Monitor ageing, collections status, and supplier balances.
• Handle end‑to‑end revenue activities, including recognition calculations and month‑end revenue entries.
• Prepare month‑end closing journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Track contract assets and liabilities and perform project‑related reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Coordinate with Shared Services, Project Controls, and Finance teams as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of AR, AP, and revenue processes.
• Proven expertise in management and statutory reporting.
