Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The role requires strong analytical abilities, a solid grasp of accounting principles, and the capacity to manage tax compliance in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month‑end closing.
• Handle Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax in line with ZATCA regulations.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax and Zakat returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and obtain necessary approvals for financial transactions.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors, providing required documentation and explanations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Utilise ERP and accounting systems efficiently.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision‑making.
• Preferably bring prior experience in IT or technology companies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CMA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
