Senior Accountant (Jeddah)

About the role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reconciling employee and business‑unit accounts in line with Chalhoub Group’s accounting policies, procedures and international standards. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely payments and robust month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all relevant accounting policies, processes and SOPs to maintain controlled and consistent work.
• Execute day‑to‑day accounting activities with minimal supervision.
• Support junior team members by resolving escalated queries efficiently.
• Plan, manage and implement year‑end closing for assigned accounting records.
• Provide technical accounting support and interpretation to business units.
• Ensure payments are processed without delay.
• Reconcile all accounts and financial records of business units.
• Perform timely bank reconciliations, review and sign‑off monthly statements, and prevent fraud or inaccuracies.
• Monitor and clear long‑outstanding reconciliation items.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal policies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple reconciliation tasks.
