Senior APC Engineer

About the role

Yokogawa is looking for a Senior Advanced Process Control (APC) Engineer to be based in Saudi Arabia. The role supports the delivery of APC and optimisation solutions for industrial customers, covering system deployment, engineering, testing, commissioning and customer support while developing the expertise to become a lead APC engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Report project progress and activities to management in a timely manner.
• Study and understand Advanced Solution software and hardware specifications.
• Install, configure, and commission Advanced Solution software and hardware systems.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support customer demonstrations.
• Perform site installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Develop APC engineering knowledge through project participation and self‑learning.
• Execute projects according to Yokogawa’s implementation standards and provide technical consultation.
• Build strong customer relationships to understand operational requirements and identify additional business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in process industries, plant operations, automation or solution engineering.
• Knowledge of oil & gas, refining or chemical plant environments.
• Strong commitment to completing assigned tasks and willingness to conduct intensive remote site activities.
• Positive attitude toward continuous learning and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Valid driving licence.
