Senior Chemist – In‑Process Quality Control (IPQC)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Chemist specialized in In‑Process Quality Control (IPQC) to join our laboratory team. The role focuses on testing water and in‑process samples, ensuring they meet approved specifications and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and physical analysis on IPQC samples, including water from treatment units, rinse water, bulk solutions, and filling line samples.
• Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and volumetric solutions.
• Perform instrument calibration according to the established calibration program.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, Good Laboratory Practice, and ALCOA documentation principles.
• Record and report test results following Good Documentation Practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in chemical analysis.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (verbal and written).
• Computer literacy with MS Office.

Required skills

• Wet analysis techniques such as titration, limit of detection (LOD), and range of interest (ROI).
• Instrumental analysis using HPLC, GC, UV‑Vis, polarimeter, auto‑titrator, Karl Fischer titrator, AAS and flame photometer.
• Preparation and standardization of reagents and volumetric solutions.
• Instrument calibration and maintenance.
