Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support planning, execution, and oversight of civil engineering, building, infrastructure, and sustainability projects across Saudi Arabia. The role provides technical expertise for civil and structural works, building upgrades, retrofits and related projects, working closely with project managers, architects, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural engineering expertise across building, infrastructure, retrofit and facility upgrade projects.
• Review civil and structural designs, drawings, calculations and technical specifications.
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to evaluate existing conditions and define requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical, mechanical engineers, consultants and contractors.
• Monitor construction and civil works to ensure quality, safety and compliance with designs and schedules.
• Identify technical issues and deliver practical engineering recommendations.
• Prepare and review technical reports, quantity estimates, material take‑offs and project documentation.
• Support project planning, scheduling and execution for the civil engineering scope.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, codes and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant civil engineering experience (candidates with 10 + years are also welcome).
• Professional experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC preferred.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration and membership.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent technical judgment, analytical, communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• AutoCAD, Revit Structure, Civil 3D.
• Structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of Saudi Building Code, ACI and ASCE standards.
