Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at CNTXT you will lead the design, implementation and governance of the company’s cloud infrastructure lifecycle. You will shape the strategy for highly‑available CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions that deliver speed, security and scalability for critical services on Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and operate resilient, secure, and scalable CI/CD pipelines using GCP Cloud Build, Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Define and enforce best practices for provisioning large‑scale GCP resources with Terraform, focusing on cost optimisation and security governance.
• Design, deploy and manage complex GCP services across multiple environments, including GKE, Cloud Run, VPC, load balancers, VPNs, Cloud SQL and Firestore.
• Integrate DevSecOps tooling such as Sysdig and Fortify into application and infrastructure pipelines.
• Build and own end‑to‑end observability platforms using Google Cloud Operations Suite, establishing SLIs/SLOs and leading incident response.
• Mentor engineering teams on cloud security, DevOps principles and GCP best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Proven track record designing and operating large‑scale GCP environments.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive cross‑functional initiatives.
