Senior Compliance Auditor

About the role

The Senior Compliance Auditor will lead comprehensive reviews of the company’s support functions, ensuring that HR, Finance, Customer Experience, Commercial, Procurement and other departments operate in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute risk‑based audit projects according to the annual audit plan.
• Participate in risk assessment and help develop the Regional Risk Prioritization Matrix.
• Assist the Regional Internal Audit Manager in designing audit approaches, testing strategies and audit scopes.
• Conduct interviews, document processes, develop surveys, and prepare working papers.
• Perform walk‑throughs and field testing to evaluate control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses, non‑compliance issues and improvement opportunities.
• Draft findings, practical recommendations and audit reports for senior audiences.
• Review and approve working papers to ensure alignment with audit objectives.
• Maintain adherence to IIA standards and the internal Code of Ethics.
• Seek and apply new audit techniques to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal audit, risk assessment and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IIA standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to analyse complex processes and communicate findings clearly.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
