Senior Construction Manager – Infrastructure & Landscape

About the role

This is a senior position on one of the largest mixed‑use development programmes in Saudi Arabia, covering sports, entertainment, arts and extensive infrastructure. The role is delivery‑focused, responsible for managing contractor performance, construction activities, programme milestones, quality standards and safety objectives across a complex portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of infrastructure and landscape packages from mobilisation through to handover.
• Manage main contractors, subcontractors and site supervision teams.
• Monitor site progress against programme milestones and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate construction activities across multiple stakeholders and disciplines, including roads, utilities, drainage, external works, public realm and landscape elements.
• Review contractor methodologies, recovery plans and short‑term programmes.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, defect resolution and handover activities.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, key issues and mitigation actions.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure and construction projects.
• Proven experience overseeing main contractors on complex developments.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, temporary works and site logistics.
• Experience managing roads, utilities, drainage, public realm, hardscape and softscape works.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and construction best practice.
