Senior Consultant - Commercial - Construction and Logistics

About the role

The Senior Consultant – Commercial supports precise project cost estimation and financial management for construction and logistics projects. You will prepare CapEx, OpEx and life‑cycle cost estimates, conduct cost analyses, and help administer contracts and payment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate CapEx, OpEx and LCC estimates using regional benchmarks.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analyses and benchmark estimates against market rates.
• Identify risks, contribute to mitigation strategies and ensure contract compliance.
• Generate detailed financial reports and support change‑order management.
• Administer live contracts, monitor variations, and manage invoicing, valuations and payments.
• Maintain cost databases and benchmarking references for day‑to‑day estimating.
• Coordinate commercial meetings with clients, project controls and finance teams.
• Lead small work packages, supervising junior colleagues where required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
• 8+ years of hands‑on quantity surveying or cost estimating experience across multiple construction sectors.
• Proven ability to prepare CapEx, OpEx and life‑cycle cost estimates.
• Strong knowledge of regional cost benchmarks and ability to maintain cost databases.
• Understanding of Public‑Private Partnership (PPP) structures is an advantage.
