Senior Consultant - Development

About the role

The Senior Consultant – Development will lead frontend initiatives across the Government Digital Products portfolio, designing, building and maintaining high‑quality, scalable user interfaces that meet business objectives and user needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable, maintainable, responsive frontend applications across the Government Digital Products portfolio.
• Establish and enforce frontend development standards, frameworks, and best practices to ensure performance, scalability and consistency.
• Develop intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces and reusable UI components aligned with enterprise design standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver new features.
• Monitor and optimise frontend performance, conduct code reviews, testing and defect resolution to meet usability, accessibility and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in frontend development, web application development or digital product delivery.
