Senior Contract Manager

About the role

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to provide contractual leadership on a major programme at NEOM, Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with the client’s commercial team, project leadership and key stakeholders to deliver expert contract advice, support negotiations and ensure effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contract administration activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring obligations, procedures and timelines are maintained.
• Review proposals, tender documents and contract terms to identify commercial risks and non‑compliance.
• Lead or support negotiations on complex, high‑value contractual matters.
• Provide expert contractual advice to the client, project leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance, risks, variations, claims and commercial issues, delivering clear reporting.
• Support preparation, assessment and negotiation of claims, change requests and variations.
• Collaborate with project, commercial, procurement and legal teams to resolve contractual matters.
• Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline from an internationally recognised university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in contract management on major infrastructure or complex development projects.
• Chartered status with a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead contract activities, provide technical guidance and manage sensitive contractual issues.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
