Senior Contracts Manager – Infrastructure Surveying

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead surveying and land‑information activities across large‑scale infrastructure projects. The role combines contract oversight with hands‑on technical surveying to ensure accurate data collection and compliance throughout project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Receive direction on new infrastructure assignments and manage all contract‑related surveying activities.
• Conduct comprehensive surveys of natural features, built structures, underground and underwater assets using electronic distance‑measuring equipment and specialized instruments.
• Operate and maintain land‑information computer systems, handling data storage, system queries, and the generation of technical plots and reports for stakeholders.
• Review and validate survey team measurements (distances, angles, elevations) and ensure data accuracy.
• Research legal records and historical documents to identify boundaries, easements, and rights‑of‑way, and incorporate findings into project documentation.
• Prepare detailed maps, plots, and technical reports for regulatory compliance and project records.
• Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to align surveying work with contractual requirements and project objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in contracts management, surveying, or infrastructure project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑disciplinary infrastructure initiatives from conception through completion.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting legal and historical land records.
