Senior Cost Control (Mega Civil Project)

About the role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Control to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in civil engineering and transportation projects, especially roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all cost control matters, develop accurate cost estimates, monitor project expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities to meet budgetary objectives.
• Prepare and present comprehensive cost estimate reports, budget forecasts, and change proposal analyses to senior management and the client.
• Oversee the application and payments process to ensure accuracy and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers and discipline leads to track and control project costs.
• Provide guidance and support to the client on cost control matters and manage client expectations.
• Ensure adherence to quality‑control processes, delivering high‑quality work to the client.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, quantity surveying or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Formal qualifications/affiliations with RICS, IQS or CIOB.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in project and construction management on mega‑construction projects, primarily as a consultant.
• Proven experience on at least one road infrastructure project; contractor‑only experience not considered.
• Strong understanding of construction, design and engineering principles, local building codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Fluent English (Arabic is a plus) with excellent communication and report‑writing skills.
• Transferable Iqama for non‑Saudis, based in Riyadh, and valid SCE membership.
