Senior Cost Control Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cost Control Specialist to join the PMO of a well‑established Saudi group. This role goes beyond traditional project cost control, providing commercial insight across operational and equipment activities to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor costs against approved budgets and operational targets.
• Analyse revenue, operating costs, maintenance/repair costs and profitability.
• Produce budget‑vs‑actual, variance and profitability reports.
• Identify revenue leakage and support the monthly revenue cycle.
• Review invoicing, unbilled revenue, receivables and collection performance.
• Analyse equipment/asset utilisation, idle time and operational performance.
• Build management dashboards and KPIs to provide clear visibility of business performance.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Maintenance and PMO teams to improve cost and revenue control.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in cost control, revenue management or financial analysis.
• Proven experience with invoicing, collections and accounts receivable.
• Strong analytical capability with utilisation and profitability analysis.
• Experience in equipment rental, fleet or other asset‑intensive industries is preferred.
• Experience working across Finance, Operations, Maintenance and PMO functions is advantageous.
• CMA, CFA or related certification is a plus.
