Senior Cost Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

As a Senior Cost Engineer at JASARA Program Management Company you will lead cost management for construction projects, ensuring financial performance and profitability. You will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to align cost engineering activities with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Analyze project expenditures and monitor cost performance against targets.
• Provide insights, recommendations, and corrective actions to maintain project profitability.
• Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost control processes are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 13 years of experience in cost engineering or project controls, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cost management software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
