Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist acts as the first line of defense for critical information and assets within BHIG, a joint venture of Air Products and Saudi Aramco. You will protect operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) by implementing and maintaining cybersecurity solutions that meet Saudi and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions for OT/ICS environments, including network architecture, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and endpoint protection.
• Lead on‑site projects to ensure compliance with SAIS, National Cybersecurity Authority, High Commission for Industrial Security and Saudi Aramco standards (SAEP‑99, 100).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, hardening, backup and disaster recovery activities, and perform threat hunting.
• Coordinate cybersecurity drills, tabletop exercises, incident response and disaster recovery with plant operations, safety and process control teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity.
• Saudi national preferred; excellent written and verbal English.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA or EC‑Council Certified Incident Handler.
